MOMAC studio recently participated in the Mary B. Martin Arts in Education Conference on November 16th.
The interactive workshop was designed to challenge the participant's ingenuity by presenting him/her with a "mystery" bag of materials to be used to create an original art piece. The activity created a consistent flow of resourcefulness, innovation, and "spur of the moment" solutions to problems. This workshop was designed to demonstrate how visual art can be used to help students connect across content areas
